Veteran advertising executive Scott Edwards has over 9 years experience in the motion picture marketing industry. Currently he is President of Crew AV, the trailer division of Crew Creative Advertising. There he’s spearheaded many successful campaigns, including Super Bowl XL for ABC, Happily N’Ever After and Pride for Lionsgate, the Planet Earth trailer for Discovery, The Contender and currently The Bronx is Burning campaigns for ESPN, among others. Edwards hails from New Line Cinema as a Vice President of creative advertising. There he was in charge of the campaign for Monster-in-Law, New Line’s only number #1 opening release of 2005. He also spearheaded the Blade Trinity campaign, The Upside of Anger campaign, and The History of Violence campaign, in addition to many others. Edwards came to New Line from BLT AV, the trailer division of BLT & Associates, where he worked as an Executive Producer. While at BLT, Edwards produced trailers, TV spots, and game videos including the Key Art Award-winning trailer for Scary Movie 3. Edwards has also creatively directed broadcast campaigns for ESPN Original Entertainment including the controversial PlayMakers series which includes several Telly Award-winning spots. Prior to his work at BLT, Edwards served as executive producer of the Broadcast, Film & Video Group at BDFox & Friends. While there, in addition to trailer and TV spot producing & editing, Edwards directed several theatrical spots including the MovieTickets.com “Stryker Force” trailers. Prior to producing and directing, Scott worked as a trailer editor and radio advertising writer and producer. Scott currently lives in Sherman Oaks with his dog Sadie and works in Hollywood. |
