A HEART FULL OF HOPE
Since she was a child, she had a disease, but she did not feel any symptoms, just a redness on the cheeks. Doctors told her parents that she suffers from something called ASD, it was a cardiac problem. This little girl was only three years old and still alive, the only hope they had was to wait until she will be eleven or so and the disease would just go away, in that case they had nothing to do but wait…
By the time she was eleven years old, she just got worse and internally…she felt very bad. It was then when the fight for survival started and the hope should keep in there more than ever. The worry of her both anguished father and mother was increasing. A very tough test was started for them and together, it had to be faced.
HEARTS WITH HOPE was the light she saw in the Goyeneche Hospital (Arequipa-Peru). So suddenly, everything started to change for her. There was strength for living in her, more than ever.
In that organization she met a lot of people that now, she considers her friends because she got to love them very much.
In January 26th, she had the first medical intervention. But after a while, the pad which was put in her heart was detached. It was, for her, like when somebody cut the wings to a bird.
Nevertheless, the same strength in spite of sadness she felt, made her believe again and got a second surgery on October 30th. By then, she was almost recovered, she only wanted to celebrate for all the things she can do now, thanks to the second intervention, such as dance, jump and other things that she never thought to could do.
Nowadays, the only thing that she wants to do is helping people; she wants to become a cardiologist as the ones who helped her. Moreover, she knows that even she would spend the rest of her life saying thank to these people, it would not be enough to show how grateful is her for everything done by the foundation.
Her life's course is not ended yet; because she wants to achieve many aims and she will make them through the years…
